Current NRPA Grant Opportunities: 

National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), observed in February, celebrates girls’ and women’s achievements in sports and the confidence, leadership, health and opportunity athletics can build. For the 2027 celebration, NRPA will award five park and recreation agencies $5,000 microgrants to host events that welcome girls and women into local sports opportunities. Applications are due by November 20, 2026.
